When does Nanobeasts launch?
Soon. Nanobeasts is getting ready for release on the App Store for iPhone and Apple Watch. This page will link straight to the download as soon as it's live.
What do the Nanobeasts do?
They grow with your steps. Eggs hatch and Nanobeasts evolve when you reach step goals, and every one you discover is added to your Dex. All it takes is walking.
Do I need an Apple Watch?
No. Your iPhone counts steps on its own. The Apple Watch app is a bonus for checking progress and recording walks from your wrist.
Do I have to connect Apple Health?
It's optional. Without it, Nanobeasts uses your iPhone's built-in step counter. Connecting Apple Health gives more complete tracking, including steps from your Apple Watch.
Do steps from before I install count?
Your past step history shows up in Stats, but only steps you take after you start count toward hatching, evolving and badges.
Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up. Your Nanobeasts and progress are saved on your device.
Is it on Android?
Not right now. Nanobeasts is built for iPhone and Apple Watch.
How much does it cost?
Nanobeasts Pro is $29.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $4.99 a month. Both include everything.
